just got time to throw in the deck last night. still awaiting box from TWISTED and dustcaps from Rusty. heres whats goin in this thing:

Kenwood KDC-x791

Western Digital USB HD-400GB

Pioneer DEQ-7600

2 DC soundlab level 4 12s

4 cubes @ 33hz

Alpine MRP-M1000

run of 4ga:crap:

Alpine MRP-F250(stock mids/highs)

SQ 1.0 powercap

**** thing lights up the entire car lol

now, i heard that 2001 camry's have this amplifier powering the stock speakers. anyone have any info about this? if thats true, i might run into problems trying to run my stock speakers off another amp, if that amp doesnt allow me to bypass it.

if ya guys have any ideas for this thing, lemme know. also open to trading anything to try out different products.

also, the EQ has only one output RCA(?) and from what i can remember, ill only have the option to hook up either my mids/highs or subs to this EQ. any way to run everything thru the EQ? or possibly thru both deck and eq? ill get more info today if its not so sh!tty out

Same car i have.

Mine did not have the "good" factory setup. So i did not have to worry about any factory amplifier.

But in know if it has the premium there is a factory amp.

What harness did you use?

If you run entirely new speaker wire I dont see how you could have a problem. GL with the build. Also whay are you changing the dust caps?

Yes, and that is very easy to do in this car.

Why...do you have all that...stuff? And why the hell would you amp the stock speakers?? And just one run of 4 gauge for 2 amps? Any deadening?

might end up just running all new wire and search around for some door speakers whatever size they are..stock doesnt sound too bad right now anyway lol

well just the one alpine for now. thought i was gonna have problems with the 4g, but ill see how it works. i know if i go any bigger, 1/0 without a doubt

and the fronts are 6.5"

but you have to make a Toyota adapter for tri bolt mount. like this.

good luck with that m1000. i havent had very much luck with those and i install them about three times a week. there isnt any reason you "shouldnt" be able to bypass any factory amplified system. just run your wiring to the output side of the aftermarket amp. and remove the input going to it and you will be fine. or run all new wiring, which would be best. good luck with the build. if you need a wiring diagram i can send one to you with all the stock wiring colors.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

Nice Build Log You Got Here, I Have Been Thinking About Doing Dc Over In Usaci But Never Really Got Around To Looking At Them.

I Was Wondering How Is That Eq? I Have Been Looking For One An I Am A Pioneer Man An That One Caught My Eye First Time I Saw It. Was Wondering If These Are Worth The 300 Bucks Before I Waste My Money. I Know The Premeir Line Head Units Has One A Good Eq On It But I Thi Nk I Need A Lil More.
