I have an 01 Accord EX and an Eclipse 8443. I have a wiring harness that came with the eclipse with a connector on one end and pigtails on the other. I took the bezel off with no problem and unhooked OEM deck. I bought a wiring harness for my car from wal mart. Now only a slight problem. No sound, but if i turn it all the way up, i do hear slight power from the rear speakers, but its sooooooooo low. Also I have an orange wire which is labeled Illumination. The harness that came with the eclipse deck has an orange wire with a white stripe labeled as illumanation. Tricky part to me is that the on the wal mart harness, in addition to the orange wire that says illumation there is an orange with white stripe wire labeled Dimmer. The eclipse harness only has one Orange wire and no orange with white stripe wire. Do i connect the orange and white strip illuminator to the sold orange illuminator? And if so, what do i do with the orange with white stripe wire? also any clue why i wasnt gettin proper sound?
