does anyone know for sure which reverse radio harness my truck takes .. on the back of my factory deck there is 2 harness's coming in, but i beleive one is just for onstar?? there is a factory amp that i seen behind the glove box... i have had 2 different car audio shops tell me 2 different things...
one said i need a pac controller box reverse harness to access my factory system properly.... the other said i need just the standard and that the more expense contoller box harness wasnt needed untill 02 or 03 ..is this true? i have my new deck hooked up with a standard reverse harness and with the smaller (onstar harness with the red clip ) unhooked going to nothing .. but i am having trouble with the sound working correctly... either the sound works or it doesnt ..and its kind of random... do i need a controller box harness or is the standard one fine... need to know so i can trace the problem.....
