where is some good prices on some 0 gauge awg wire, I am wanting to rewire my alternator, I guess this is called "the big 3". Does anyone know if this is hard to do? If I am purchasing a 200amp alternator would I need a 200amp fuse to go with it? right now I am powering two amps with a 90amp alternator and standard wiring. I will be eventually powering 3 amps, 1 cap, 1 deep cell, would I need 0 gauge going everywhere or just from the alternator to the battery and have like 2/4gauge going to the amps like they are?

I will be having 3 amplifiers 1 deepcell and a cap in my trunk. 2 amplifiers are the jbl gto 1201.1 each have 3 40amp fuses. and the fosgate 400watt has only 2 40amp fuses. Also what time of fuse should I have in the front of the car?

would this be enough?

16ft power

3 ft ground

200amp fuse

Actually all he'll need is the first link you posted. It states it's a kit for dual amp setup which includes 1/0 and 4 guage...not a bad deal....

nvm...just reread and saw that you are running 3 amps and a cap...might be tight on the 4 ga...hmmm, it might be doable with just the one kit

That's a good kit. That's what I have in my truck. Well, that and other stuff. But it is pretty much a complete wiring setup just w/o rcas.

well the thing is I already have 2 amps in my truck already installed, i will be adding the third amp when I get my alternator, and doing "the big 3" I just wanted some nice cheap stores to get 0awg wire its a 200 amp alternator so I should only need a 200amp fuse. was the store I mentioned above legit, the stereo shop guy said some stores will advertise they have 0 gauge when its not true 0 gauge. I have rca cables, the amps are hooked up, you guys think I should have everything re-wired? and start from scratch on wires.
