Unless that site is selling it at a loss it's not 1/0.i think even if it is really 2awg and 8awg its still a pretty good deal.
In a fit of boredom I looked up the weight of copper wire per foot, and the current market value of copper. In just the "1/0 ga" and "4 ga" wire it's $23 of copper - and that's the raw material price. Probably twice that by the time it's processed, packaged, and marked up for resale. Plus the current market is as low as it's been in 9 months. So chances are that particular copper was a lot more than $23.
But I agree with Phypho. 2/8's still a good deal. I'm half tempted to order one even though I don't really need it.
