I was wondering if the door speakers of this car, 2012 Audi A4 Sedan are held on the doors panel with rivets?, and if so what are the tools I need to remove them if I'm going to upgrade my factory speakers? Would I need to to install new speaker with rivets as well?

A friend of mine told me if i ran 8" subs off an amp, in full frequency, in place of normal door speakers, it would sound better than normal component speakers. Anyone know anything about that?
