Test it. Setup a multimeter and test it. Outside a car, start the car and then connect inputs outputs to the amp. Outputs is the multimeter. Volts. Inputs is the plus lead to the battery terminal. Use the cables you have. Buy new ones if you have to. Use a ring connector on one end of the cable, then a proper connector to the input amp. Test the volts to the output or the amp should turn on. Well I got it from a video. Watch all kinds of video. This came from a NPN transistor. He was testing a bipolar NPN transistor. Same voltage idea.

probably just discharged the internal capacitors, but the only way to truly know is to reconnect and test.
