I've done a ton of head unit installs and this just baffles me. First, if anyone has a wiring chart for an 89 comanche pick up it would help. Whoever put the last headunit in hacked off the harness, so this is a pain. I can get the headunit to turn on (kind of) by hooking up the battery...

Sadly, I agree with Gauntlet. There are a few good tracks(American Psycho II, Git Up), and one GREAT one (How Come). The rest is pretty much crap.

Yea, I switched in another older Pioneer unit that was one of my friends, and it works fine. I have no idea for my 6400 fried, but it did. This *****, time to buy a new headunit.

How old is the DXZ835MP? Does Clarion make anyother good decks for around that price? No opinions on Kenwood?

My headunit blew it's fuse. So I went and got some more, put one in, and it blew again, without even turning on the car, as soon as I put it in. I did a quick check for shorts, didn't see anything big. Anything else I should be looking for? I'm going to swing by my friends house in a few...
