    3ohm in parallel with 8ohm = what?

it is a natural attenuator, so expect that your tweeters will have less output then the woofers, which is usually a good thing.

    Regulator Control Module

it allows more then 14.4 volts to travel to your system electronics, generally you would not want to do this unless you could isolate the rest of the car from your stereo. More voltage = more power and greater stability as the amp will not have to work as hard, however, it will put more wear on...

    In dash DVD screen

Actually that isn't true, alpine and kenwood both have a sequence you have to go through. For Alpine - depress foot break, press ebrake, release ebrake, press ebrake, release footbrake. I believe kenwood's is similar. The TR-7 will emulate this sequence when ignition is on.

find a local mechanics shop that will respin alternators and ask them to beef up your windings. There are a few places here in WI to get it done relatively cheap. This way you retain your stock housing and plugs, probably put the voltage regulator external if it isn't already to beef it up.

    First System, Please Help!

you may need to construct a plate to get them to fit, just trace the out edge of the factory speaker onto 1/4 hardwood and then trace the mounting diameter of your new speaker. For the prelude, it has that ATTS **** in it that you should bypass. As far as power, too much is a good thing, just...

    In dash DVD screen

most in-dash DVD players have to by law provide a function that keeps you from watching DVD/TV while the car is moving. Buying and connecting a TR-7 switch will bypass this function and allow you to do it.

    Couple simple alarm questions...

nothing is ever "for sure" even death and taxes are escapable now. It is all in the install, if you install and set it up correctly, you SHOULD have no problems, should being the key word. Electronics are feeble, prone to failure. Never let an alarm substitute good tactics.

Need some help with the TR-7 Alpine video bypass

with the TR7 - you don't need to do anything, it is preprogrammed to perform this function and as long as you didn't reprogram it and connected it the proper way, it works flawlessly. Now if you did try to reprogram it, then you will have to re-reprogram it. Here is the installation manual for...

    Couple simple alarm questions...

you "can" connect a remote start and retain use of the clutch safety switch - clifford has a piece out that tackles this, but most states have laws against it and most insurance companies will not cover the car if they find out about it.
