Alright my DD only has a 60 amp alt, that will not cut it. I can't find a place that sells any bigger ones. Ebay has 150 amp ones for the 90-92 Corolla, but I guess it don't fit the 88-89?

Anyways, where is the cheapest place to get a 140ish amp alt for this thing?

find a local mechanics shop that will respin alternators and ask them to beef up your windings.

There are a few places here in WI to get it done relatively cheap. This way you retain your stock housing and plugs, probably put the voltage regulator external if it isn't already to beef it up.
