I purchased these woofers to replace my Alpine SPX 17MB drivers which i thought had failed. Turns out the Alpine's were okay and the crossovers were faulty. I have no need for the Peerless MB of which one is virtually new (tested once) And the other is still in the original packaging. Specs...

    Diffrence between LEDS and Neons?

LEDs consume less power, are more pure in light color and have "instant on/off" which is good for strobing or flashing effects. The newer "chip" LEDs don't have the spot pattern typical of the 5mm/3mm models. Good Call...we're a wierd bunch over there.

    Amplifier troubles

depending on the make/model of your amp, it may have a protect mode. Check if the fuse got toasted. If it did, there's your problem and the fuse saved your butt. If not, your amp is most likely fried.

    need help fast

There should be a wiring harness behind the underhood fuse box that goes through the firewall. In many cases there's enough room in the gromet for a 4 awg wire or smaller. To get big wire through, I like to use about 3 feet of thick stranded 12 gauge wire to probe my way through the firewall...

    Is knukonceptz good stuff?

I agree. I'm using KNU for almost all of my wires/cables. I'm also using their battery terminals and 4 of their dist blocks. Personally, I love the kompression style fittings on the dist blocks. Its far more secure than a screw-type terminal and has more contact area than a crimp style terminal...
