What kind of car? Are you running an amp toyour highs? Possibly have your power antenna wire hooked up instead of amp turn on.

Which amp do you have? In your first post you said it was the 301 but you posted a manual for the 300? The 301 has a switch the adjust the input sensitivity (input level). Did you check what freq's your LPF and Subsonic filters were set at?

It willbe fine on the dash. That is what the plate is for. It has an adhesive on one side to stick to the dash and then the antennas magnet will hold to the plate.

Check the input sensitivity switch. Then check to make sure the subsonic filter is set lower than your low pass filter and that they arent close to the same freq.

Its called a molex plug. Your probably going to neen to drill a new hole next to that plug

Also are the subs wired series or parallel?

Did you double check to make sure line out converter is not wired out of phase? Or are subs possibly out of phase? Is there a level adjustment on L.O.C.?

You sure you can get the deal on the 9500? Unless they have changed things in the last year or two since i was an s&i you can only get accomodation prices up to the 8500 series.

If you have 2 subs that are single voice coil at 4 ohms. oyu cannot reach a 1ohm load to the amp. 2 ohms would be the lowest you could get.

Yes the w7 10 does have an 8% larger surface but the 9500 has 10% higher xmax which more than compensates for it. As I said earlier i think they are equally capable drivers. But thats it i'm done digging into this. It's dinner time and i'm starving.

I fully believe in the ability of the w7 to outdo a 9500. Thats why in my original post i said that it can match or beat the w7. I didnt say it will destroy it everytime. But I do believe the 9500 is on the same level as the w7. And you are right that the ads mtx puts out dont prove the 9500 to...
