No the spare went away and was replaced with a roadside kit under the box. Everything maintains the foam height. So yes, that sub box is only 3.5 in deep. The factory amp is also tucked into the spare area.

Looks like you have 2-4 choices. A 5 channel which in your case would work fine with your lower power reqs. Or a 4 channel amp and a mono amp, or a 2 channel to amp the fronts, a mono for the subs, running the rears off the radio. Or just a 4 channel, power the front speakers and the subs off...

Measure the electrical your new car is putting out. Not all vehicle electrical systems are equal.

Why not try a sealed box or just install a bass knob for your amp. With the knob all the way low it should cut a lot off your sub output when you want it, but still allow you to get funky when you want to. Its what i did with my SI bm MKIV's.

The loc has to be powered. Worst case tap them into the same power and ground as your amp, or use an add-a-fuse

Did you check the fuses? Power and ground cant touch, or be hooked up opposite.

Why not run RCA splitters and just set the filters on the amp?
