I am having the same problem. From what I gather the XXX would have the best sound quality. Since the 2 have more cone area they might be louder but im not sure on that. Someone please help us.

I have 2 12" perfects and I like them, but that is not a good match depending how you wire it. The perfects handle what they say they do and pretty much no more. I would say 400 rms tops to each.

Technically you should pick up 3 dbs. But that is mathmatically and if it does pick up 3 dbs then it will sound 3 times louder I think since sound is a log function. But you will be able to notice a difference.

You should mount it in your stock location if at all possible, if not its alright.

Well in other threads they also said not to turn the bass boost up too much, like 6-9 db's. What you need to do is set your HU all up how you like it, turn the subwoofer volume all the way up if it has it, turn your amp bass boost up like half way, pop in the most bass heavy song you listen...

+ from battery to cap, + from cap to amp, the - should be grounded somewhere preferrably on the frame of the vehicle. I just used the same spot that I grounded the amp. Don't run a wire from the battery - to the cap -, don't need to do that.

I was having the same problem with my old HU which didn't have crossovers so I got some blockers. They did what they were suppossed to do. I would go with the 300 or 150hz ones depending on if you want a little mid bass or not.

Yeah, if they are rated at 400 peak then you probably aren't giving them enough power. I think it would be better to buy new speakers than to buy an amp for them.

It all depends on the vehicle, I had mine facing up towards my big hatchback window and it sounded good. Just try it out in all kinds of positions and decide which one sounds best or is loudest.

Good review Now I think I'm going to get some of this stuff. Do you put it on exactly the same way as dynamat and does it help the trunk rattle alot?
