bass blockers

ok, so i put in 2 6x9 sony speakers in the back and 2 5 1/2 speakers in mroe door as factory replacements, there both 3 way coaxial. and i have 2 xpl 12's in my back, well, the speakers sound great in the high end butt there bass *****, and i want to get rid of them without getting an amp to power them(saving money for sub and sub amp upgrade) so do the passive crossovers work well, and if the do are these ok, http://www.crutchfield.com/S-cYgfjRtJvkd/cgi-bin/ProdGroup.asp?c=11&g=761&s=0&cc=01&avf=Y&search= and if they're ok what frequency would you recomend, i was thinking 300 hz on all speakers. thnx

I was having the same problem with my old HU which didn't have crossovers so I got some blockers. They did what they were suppossed to do. I would go with the 300 or 150hz ones depending on if you want a little mid bass or not.

Yeah, I use them too, they definetly did what they were supossed to do, and at $10 or whatever, it's a great addition to the system.
