going with a 200A alt will be plenty. but when you go to 16v then you are opening a whole other can of worms where you will end up using breakers and whatnot.
to fit in the back of a 2003 dodge ram quad cab..... the magnets have to be reasonable size, and they have to perform well in a sealed box w/ little space
alright, there are too many goddam subs out there, and most are worth the money. i'm in the market for 4 10" subs. i'm just wonderin if i should go with the JL Audio 10w3d4s or the kicker 10L7s, or even another brand. all feedback is welcome. thanks
yeah but i can always sell the subs i have now and go with 4 L7s.... well, i'll let everyone decide for me. i'll just make a post, and ask people for feedback
ummmm, 4ga from the battery? thats pushin it because the amp will need at least 4 ga. thats why paikiah said at least 0/1 ga wire.... then you'll have 3 or 4 4ga outputs
what i did with my '94 ranger was fiberglass over the 6X8 holes and cut my own 6.5 in hole in the door. but you have to be careful with the depth of the speaker and how far the lip of the speaker comes out or you'll push the door panel out
well, it seems like you dont have too much to ground. layering one wire on top of anoter will give you a hard time.. get a distrobution block with one 4ga input and 3 8ga outputs. but just like paikiah said, make the wires as short as possible
