Woofers designed for use in PA equipment are ill suited to car use because the require very large enclosures to extend into the lower octaves. Your better off getting a good 8 inch woofer designed for use in a car and feeding it a lot of power.

Will this head unit read mp3s from a dual or single layer DVD disc? How many preouts and crossovers does it have? Hows the parametric EQ and time alignment? I'm considering purchasing a car that has one installed. Thanks

Its not 10x Vas, its when the Q of the alignment equals the Qts of the woofer. Some woofers don't 10x Vas airspace behind them to achieve this (for all practical purposes).

The difference does smaller, but 20% isn't impossible at full output. With all the distractions inside a car, I see no reason not to go class D unless your competing. I know I won't be able to hear the difference (If there is one at all) while I'm driving.

Popular hip-hop (aka Pop music) is commercialized garbage, for the most part. Kayne isn't bad, Alecia Keys is good, and thats about it. The people who aren't making the money are the ones creating the good ish.

Epoxy would bond the two pieces together, but it really should be welded. Epoxy isn't going to be as strong as a weld and it isn't going to last a long either.

6 15s or 6 12s in anything but a competition vehicle is a complete waste.

If any sub bass audio transducer actually output energy at the rate of 1000 watts, it would probably be able to kill large animals from far away........... And would probably require well over 1 million watts of input power. Subs don't output RMS wattage in the sense that you understand it...
