Rainbow Germaniums OR Dyns 240 MK2

Not trying to jack the thread but only one that came up on my search. I'm on the brink of finally hooking up my Germaniums. What xover set up would be the best to start with? JL 300/4 75wrms per 6.5 in the stock door location on MDF baffles and tweets in the stock pillar. The tweets in the...

Rainbow Germaniums OR Dyns 240 MK2

I think that zapco comboed with Germs won't allow the bi-amp function. Pass and find a 4 channel. Eclipse makes a nice EA4000 that would couple nicely with em. Won't break the bank but I'm sure zapco has a 4 channel that woll do the trick.

Neons off switches, 4 on 1 and 3 on 1

Not sure if they are fused or not. I tried to contact the seller of the item and he said the amperage was low but uncertain to the exact specs. I got 7 10" tubes for $50 and they were cosmetically what I was looking for. I was ignorent to the power specs. I was thinking maybe 1 Amp or less...

Just need a little help on this. I plan on running 7 10" Blue tubes and need help on the plan. Two tubes under each of the front seats and three in the sub box. The 4 total tubes under the front seats will be on one switch and the three in the sub box will be on another. Each tube comes with...

1999 Camry Rainbow Germanium/JL 12W6 Thread! (Picture heavy! 56k beware.)

Nice write-up. Nothing newb about ya. You talked over my head a few times about xing over those Germs but I haven't had a chance to tinker yet. Done lots of research and am starting to collect everything for current install. Going dual battery with 1/0 Awg run from front. Waiting on my Germ's...

Help select 6.5" 2 way components for $300

Still have the inside on a 300/2 but was reading about bi-amping and like the added flexibility. Have everything I need for install on its way except for amps. Sure would like them to match brand wise without busting my budget. Call ya in the morning. Thanks

Help select 6.5" 2 way components for $300

Broke the bank for some yummy Rainbows. Germ's to be specific. So much for the comps @ $300 post. Now need to select the proper amp to power them. Want to bi-amp and would like the amp to perform parallel duty. Something in the 75x4 rms range. Looking to keep it under $350USD. Any ideas...

    General Wiring Question

Dang that seems like alot! I'm not doubting you but is there any recommendations on the lowest fuse rating to run on 1/0 AWG to a second battery? I was thinking 200A. Would that work or will that restrict the amount of power flow to the rear battery?

KonFUSED Ground Distribution System Trunk Ground

Is this a proper ground of a trunk battery and 2 amp system? See this KonFUSED Ground Distribution System. This ground disribution system has 5 input/outputs. 2 of these are 1/0 AWG - 4 Gauge and the other three are for 4-8 Gauge. So my intall would be the following. The two 1/0 AWG-4 Gauge...

    General Wiring Question

Same relative question with different specs. I'll have a Yellow Top in the trunk while running stock under hood for now. Running 1/0 AWG from front to back. I know 4 Gauge would work but went bigger for future possibilities. Now I need two in-lines on the main 1/0 AWG run. What fuze size...
