I think it's going to be hard to find a replacement amp that runs at 1 ohmm 1000w rms for cheap. Anyone know how low of power I can go with that HDS310 before it starts to sound like garbage?

Just got a new sub. HDS-310. Didn't like the way it sounded in my old box so I built a new transmission line box. Totally pumped to try it and wouldn't you know. My amp went into protection mode and won't come out of it. (I tried everything I could to get it out, made sure my connections were...

I can just unscrew that port wall and use silicone to seal the holes. Ill give that a try this weekend. I was going to round the corners of my ports as well. Is there anything else I should do? Ie put insulation on the inside or any other tips. I may just build a new box since it's only 50ish...

Hey guys, I just got a new sub and both my 50 amp fuses blew on my amp today. My amp is 1000 RMS My sub is 1200 RMS Would that cause it to blow? Also noob move but my negative was a little loose. So I'm thinking that is more likely my issue.

My Alpine R boomed a lot. The mirror shook a lot and even flexed my roof. My HDS310 in the box I currently have isn't nearly hitting as hard. It barely shakes the mirror... It really just sounds flat and one toned. I would love to make a box for the proportions soundqubed suggested I just don't...
