Amp Fuse Question

w/o brand/model info it's about impossible to help you.

A minor difference in power rating isn't the problem.

What could be the problem is the impedance of your sub is too low for the amp. That usually triggers protection, but could also blow the fuse. W/o brand/model -- who knows??
