    Sound Deadening

RAAMmat is another excellent deadender, and the owner is an awesome guy. Each of the products mentioned, with the exception of PnS, come in thicker variations. I'd reccommend going with the thickest you can get so you only have to cover an area once, and the few areas you might want a second...

Omg Hahaha What A Freak Read This!

Thas right! Been using 10g for my subs for years. It's kind a like a car painted red makes it go faster. It's a psychological advantage.

    First Project

15's are bigger, slower and harder to control speakers. Throw enough power at them and they'll do the best they can, but still won't have the sq capability of a smaller speaker.

I understand what you're saying, and believe me I understand limited funds and wanting to do it right the first time. All the products I listed are good products. Nothing "cheap" in that bunch. So it boils down to preference. For instance, MB Quart and CDT comps both use metal tweeters (last...

    Low cost system

Sure that's not a false floor to cover your spare? If the floor doesn't work, could you mount it under the rear speaker deck? I've done that before.

I don't know if you need 2 15"s, but that' up to you. A couple twelves in the right box will give you all the SPL of a 15 and more sq in the process. My opinion however. There is a lot of good equipment out there so much of this is personal preference. If you want 15's then look into RE...

    Tools???

I'd seriously consider a router, it does a much better job then a jigsaw and there's a great deal more you can do with it. Rounding edges, notching, beveling, recessed areas for speaker grills or plexi windows, etc. A router is almost always in a wood workers toolbox. A dremel is a must if...

    new project comming soon!!

I saw a 4-wheeler with 19" rims all around once. We've gotta be able to find something for this. If the girl's gonna have a ride then it might as well be phat from the start. My daughters would have pulled each other's hair for one of those at that age. What am I saying, there still pulling...

What will be missing in my setup...

No doubt (V8). The mods are where the ClubGP Forum will come in handy. Save you a lot of guess work.

What will be missing in my setup...

Talk to your installer on where to put the different types of deadeners. People have different preferences so you'll get different responses. The spray is the only thing I'd be questionable on. Some sprays harden completely and are not as effective as mat. You might still use it in seams and...

Got my edead in and carpeted the tunk!

No DOUBT! I did three layers in my trunk cuz the stuff I got was thinner then I expected. Took me forever! Had more sound deadening material on me then the car. I could barely get my spare back in when I put things back together, it was tight. I had to use WD-40 and it still squeaked all...
