Never really built one before. Looking for opinions on this design. All input will be greatly appreciated. 20 cubes sealed, 7 ported, 140in^2 of port. Tuned @ 55hz Looking fro flat response throughout all freqs.

I have 2 of the CR5000.1's and run them wired to .4 ohm on a pair of D1 coiled 18's. No issues.

If your tying to answer which will get louder at lower than Fs of the sub should be a factor. BUT WHAT THE HELL DO I KNOW LOL

I have worked with both and voted WMD2. Both getloud as hell. Both will take 3000 clean but the wmd"s sound much better

It should do 500-600 rms clean @ 2 ohm. I also have never had a soundstorm amp with any issues as far as reliability goes. They are good on a tight budget

Just to add my 2 cents. They work because alt voltage output is based on voltage input from the wire you spliced into. Like when an external voltage regulator goes bad your alt could charge at 18V. It happened in my dads mercury.
