what did you use? what was rattling? how many layers of sound deadner did you use?

yeah, 4 layers and really no change..i think im gonna buy a dynamat bulk pack and take it down to my local audio shop and let the intstaler just go crazy with it, since i've already really tried and can't exactly pinpoint where the rattles are coming from...he's had more experince with this...

i feel like it isn't working cause my trunk lid still rattles and even worse it sounds like the floor of my trunk is rattling NOW too...almost sounds like the mufflers about to fall off or something(which it's not)

i think it's a bad install cause well it just isn't really working, my only other option is to keep adding layers to the trunk until it quits....

or..any kind of sound deadner, i think i did a bad install on my trunk lid so i wanna remove the four layers of my trunk and do it all over again with new material...im thinking since it's tar i can just heat the material then peal it right off...or is it gonna be harder then that?

alright so i bought 4 sheets of stfu-80 and applied it to my trunk lid, it helped alittle, but my trunk still rattles a bit and also now it sounds like my trunk floor is rattling too, so im wondering do i need to dampen the entire trunk now? or just keep layering the lid? also how come the floor...

i want to apply some dynamat on my door panals cause they also rattle alittle too, now im wondering do i just surround the speaker with dynamat or do i do the whole door?

at my local audio shop i can get just enough dynamat for the top of my trunk for 15 bucks, it'll cost 35 if i want it done by them....should i pay the 35 or just try to do it myself?

my stuff sounds good with loud on, and it's not even turned high, usually at about 18-22, the only thing that sucks my stupid trunk rattling now, gotta do someting about that

i've gotta keep loud on, otherwise i have to turn up my hu **** near to full volume for it to really pound

just an update, and thanks to everyone that responded, went by my local audio shop today and found out that my hu has bad outputs, and thats why it's messing up everytime i hit a bump...glad it wasn't really anything expensive, planned on getting a new hu anyways
