My friend and I are Monster freaks. Although, only if you have very sensitive ears will the super high end expensive cables give their money's worth.

One of my idiot friends turned the gain up too high on my amp. He apologized by paying me back.

Of the amps I see come back to the store the most, its the lightnings. People say they sound O.K., its that they get way too hot even with the fan add-on.

I have an Alpine MDV-1005 running @ 1/2 gain pushing a Pioneer 12" 304C in a downward firing box. Power includes Monster 4 guage and a Monster 24 volt full cap. The car is an '89 Mercury Topaz. Since power doesn't seem to be the problem, would it be heat? Please help me out if you can guys...

Not too sure what kind you'll need. I've only seen regular and extreme Dynamat. I know Best Buy sells rolls and kits. The size of the car kit is hilarious. It's the size of a large briefcase!
