Is my sub overheating?

I have an Alpine MDV-1005 running @ 1/2 gain pushing a Pioneer 12" 304C in a downward firing box. Power includes Monster 4 guage and a Monster 24 volt full cap. The car is an '89 Mercury Topaz.

i dont think your subs are overheating

check all your wiring because you may have a loose connection somewhere
