IMO I believe Kicker makes some of the best looking subs on the market. Personally I've never had any problems with any of the subs or amps I've used. I've owned quite a few L5's, L7's, and Solo X's. Good stuff.

Its hard to beat Kicker for the price and performance. Most ZX 1500.1's push 1600 to 1700 watts straight out of the box at 2 ohms. If the DC amp is double the price, then it should be a no brainer.

Kicker Hyperflex IMO is the best wire out right now. Speaker wire shouldn't be that expensive. The 4ga and 1/0 ga tends to get a little pricey. I would suggest the hyperflex, but when it comes to power and ground wire, check out Metra Install Bay. Can't beat it for the price.

You can't beat Metra for the price. Stinger, Kicker, Memphis, Rockford 1/0 wire is going to run you anywhere from $4.00 to $8.00 a foot.

I bought a 50 foot roll of Metra Install Bay 1/0. Reminds me alot of the Kicker hyperflex wire. Excellent wire for the money, and wont break the bank. Remember you get what you pay for. Of course right now my favorite wire is the Kicker hyperflex wire, but the Install Bay wire is a very close...

The solobaric 8's will suprise you. I bought a new truck so I had no use for them afterwards. Your system should sound good. Nice car, nice clean subs. Spend a little time and money on the install and you shouldnt go wrong.
