    My box is 1.2 cubic feet! About .35 cubic feet per sub after displacment. I filled each chamber with polyfill to get me a little more output. So I am assuming they are performing in about .45 cubic enclosures.

    Oh yeah! Let me know when you get it done. That jl audio 1000/1 should be prefect on those. These speakers are rated at 150 RMS/300 PEAK. But around 250 RMS seems to be what they need at least in my opinion. I had that 700 watt kenwood on them before with the gain wide open and it sounded good...

    Alpine PDX amps the new ones are nice azz amps. I just bought the 1200x1 off ebay for 500. The birth sheet says actual power is 1418 watts. These amps run at 90% efficiency. Have damping factor of 1,000 on mono amps this year. These amps are top of the line right now.

    If it's rated at 100 RMS, I put a 50x4 amp on them. 50 to the tweeter and 50 to the midbass.

    Alpine is in business to make money folks. You have to design what the majority of people want. That's simple features with iphone and ipod controls. There's not enough audiophiles left to support headuntis with a azz of tuning features anymore. Your average person don't know where to start on...

    Sundownz you have a good point. There are so many variables that play a role in a loud speaker. You have to also factor in the F3 spec.
