Seen this box before? Subs INSIDE of square port?

I say try it if you like the idea. If not for practicality(car audio durr) do it in the name of science. I, too think it would behave strangely, but it would be something unique.

Center channel MTM for Logitech Z-5500.

I'd really like to someday build a proper T-Line with a larger driver. I've seen pictures of folks building folded lines and they look really nice and I toyed with the idea but it would be a pretty drawn out project for me and I don't have the time for it at the moment. I'm amazed at how well...

Kicker 1/0 Gauge Cable & 300A ANL Fuse Holder

If you want to do it right, buy a fuse holder made for 1/0 wire.

Center channel MTM for Logitech Z-5500.

I actually put together the TL for my spare RE SR10. I did some experimenting and ended up with it being about 7.75' long and tapered from 12.5" down to ~8" diameter at the end. It's not perfect by any means and I don't have enough polyfill to really experiment with stuffing it, but the...

    CDT's question

I'm not even sure what that means. I'm pretty happy with my CDT's, they aren't the best speakers ever created, but for $100 for the comps and $49 for the coax's I really can't ask for more. Build quality is great on mine and they sound good. They also get loud enough off headunit power for...

    CDT's question

Looks like the same components as my convertible 5.25's. They are great and don't require too much power. Tweeter isn't harsh and low end is good with a bit of power. I can verify that the 6.5" is more like 6.75" as my coaxials were pretty wide and use the same basket.

    Good 10 inch sub

I'm happy with my SR10's but I'm not sure they could handle 450w.

Some impedance and wiring configuration questions.

Front and rear sets. I'm thinking about taking the tweeters off of the rear coaxials and throwing an inductor into their enclosure. LP them around 300hz. They are positioned pretty much perfectly in the rear, right side in line of sight of driver and left in line of sight of passenger. I think...

Need to find an Oscilloscope in West TX

I may just have to do that. Think I'll have any trouble figuring it out? I've never used an oscilloscope before.

Need to find an Oscilloscope in West TX

Just seeing if anyone on these forums owns a scope in the West TX area. I'm about to install a new amp and want to try to get my install as close to perfect as I can this time so I'd like to use a scope to set my gains. If anyone has any suggestions for a cheap oscilloscope(under $300) that may...

Some impedance and wiring configuration questions.

If you are replying to my question: I've figured out that damping changes with ohm load on amps. But in my setup, the amp will see 2ohms either way, the only difference being the wiring of the voice coils on the subs. It's got me pretty confused!

Radioshack, no. If you have some sort of industrial electronics shop they may be able to take a look at it for you.
