Pissing off the world.
Just seeing if anyone on these forums owns a scope in the West TX area. I'm about to install a new amp and want to try to get my install as close to perfect as I can this time so I'd like to use a scope to set my gains. If anyone has any suggestions for a cheap oscilloscope(under $300) that may be an option, also. I don't know much about them, so I'm having trouble shopping for one as I don't know what to look for in a scope that's suitable for car audio. Also, can I get an accurate look at how many watts an amp is outputting by using a clamp-meter and a VOM or DMM? I assume I could get a measurement of the current through the speaker wire and multiply that by the voltage?
Thanks in advance for any help.
