Mounting Depth Space From Back of Mag

We always just made sure the to leave the diameter of the pole vent behind the driver and the surface such as the enclosure wall or bracing, etc as a minimum. You should be fine with that space close to two inches, just dont restrict airflow if you can help it.

    Mixing port sizes???

It would be just as if you used port area of an irregularly shaped port. Or even how you figure out tuning for other higher order enclosures, for example a ABC enclosure. Also you can divide number of ports by Vb and go that route or you add up port area. SquareRoot(A^2+B^2)= Total Port Area

    Mixing port sizes???

Although, it isn’t standard practice, all you would have to do is add up your square inches, port area, and figure out tuning for said area and Vb. Then make sure all ports are of the same length in regarding mixing 6’s with 4’s.

    TC Sounds TC-9

Maybe if you would use the search function like I previously did, you would realize there is no info on anyone running the new tc-9s, I know the motor is stout. I am wondering if anyone has any personal experience with the new ones.

    MAW Dilemma

I would appreciate some general info along with any personal experience and any pros or cons if applicable. I am planning on adding some tunes to my work vehicle, as the drives are getting boring without any bass. I am considering either running a single MAW-12 ported (2 ft3 tuned to 32 hz) or...

    Need MATH help!

You can use anything from 1/2 to 3/4 since all you really want to do is take the edge off basically making it easier on the round over bit since there wont be as much stock to remove.

You are welcome and I believe it doesn’t from what I have seen skimming through it just before doing this for you.

    How are the new Brahmas

Does anyhow know how the new mark four Brahmas are? I have previously owned a 12 Brahma mk2, I absolutely loved that subwoofer, back a few years ago and sold it for one reason or another. I for one have heard that they lowered their continuous power handling, now is that true or just gossip? I...

    hey

Subs fire forward and ports fire sideways towards passenger side with two 4 inch ports 14.125 long each. The net volume is a little less than what Audiobling recommends, their space saver bass design, but is close to it. box: Vb: 2.32 Ft^3 Fb: 40 Hz Av: 25.12 In^2 Lv: 14.125 In   3.065 gross...

What is this box tuned to?

Make a test CD from 15 to 35 Hz. Start going through the tones while gently holding your finger on the cone. Once you notice a significant reduction in movement, that’s it.

    Is this tuning frequency correct..

Well with you new tweak and I believe you mean you have 40.5 in2 for port area and still assuming that is the true net at 3.39 cubes (although the Vb should’ve changed as you adjusted your plan and then in turn affecting your Fb), I get 35.01 so 35 Hz. Also I would personally give that SI Mag...

    Is this tuning frequency correct..

I get 34.72 so 35 hz if that is your true net volume of 3.39 I didnt take away for port displacement I am assuming you did to get that volume and your length to width ratio of your vent is a too high with 17.7:1 you shouldnt go above 9:1 max
