If you're talking about purchasing that box with the dual 12s, then you're looking at a combined RMS of 800 watts.

The rule of thumb is RMS plusd 50%, which allows for reactive resistance (box rise) and dynamic headroom.

That puts you in around the 1200-watt mark.

Skip the skar, grab one of these instead, re-wire to run that box st 4 ohms, depending.

Can't beat it for $170.00!

Comes in 1 or 2 phm configurations, so we would need to know what the wiring possibilities with that box are. Do the two woofers have dual 2 or dual 4 ohms voice coils?

Yeah, it's a 3k amp, but if you wire the sub differently, it puts out 1300 at 4 phms, and that is ideal, and the amp barely breaks a sweat.

Or one of these, I've been running a couple of the 4-ch class AB units for a time, no issues.

How much and have you heard them playing? If yes, did they sound good?

I never had those particular CVR’s, but had some of the 2005 silver cone ones that came out after those, and they did great honestly for a pair of cheaper 12’s. I ran them on a 2002-2003 MTX 1501D at 2-ohm. I had them in a box that was a little too big tuned to about 35hz, and could bottom them out if I went to anything under 30hz, but they got loud and sounded decent in the trunk of my Lincoln Town Car.

If you can get those cheap, doesn’t hurt to try them, they might have plenty of output. One thing I will say though, they are older, the suspension could be sagging, the ones I had were sagged inward slightly, although I still used them for years. I used those subs to swap between a few different vehicles over the years, and they did great overall. I never killed the coils, the cones got damaged badly when I was hauling stuff in my trunk and it hit into them. Those CVR's took more abuse then other cheaper subs I've had.

I would not pay hundreds for them though.
