What cars have you had? What equipment or systems in them?

In my 1999 Jeep Cherokee, I had a Pioneer P9 combo with Image Dynamics HLCDs, Focal Utopia midbass drivers and a 10" Adire Audio Brahma MK1 - probably one of the first 100 ten inchers. Unfortunately, no amount of tuning or equipment swapping could fix the cramped front stage.
DSP (with the processing power and price of today's units) would have been awesome back then.

Spitting image of one of my Zs, except I deleted the rubber "bumpstops" on the bumpers, and mine was lowered, with Goodyear 235/60s on the Western wheels.
Pioneer Supertuner radio with a variety of Pioneer speakers in back.

EQ only, or time delay, etc?
I don't think it has time delay. Eq, x-over, gains, phase and gated outputs. And the main reason I got it, it has an RTA.

Once I figured out I could eq a system with sine sweeps, banded pink noise and my ears, I stopped using the RTA and it's been gathering dust ever since.

My first car was a 1968 NSU Prinz 1000. It came without a radio. I was working for the local Radio Shack at the time, and installed an under dash Realistic 8 Track/FM player and a pair of Jensen 6X9's in the rear deck. Been doing car audio ever since....

Was that car used as the basis for a character in a CARS movie? Looks very familiar.

Yes, a 1982 Turbo T-Top 5-Speed. The gold one is an '82 Slicktop Auto and the brown a 1979 GL Slicktop 5-Speed. The only thing different about a "GL" is on the drivers door there is a switch between the window switches. It was an auto window switch.
We had an 82 in the lot for donor parts. The wheels looked familiar.

Another one.
Had a KEHM5000 up front with an Alpine 3331 EQ, and MTX crossover (on tunnel so I could adjust while driving). I think there were CV 8"s in the tubes.
Front and rears were Boston Acoustics separates.
It later got a 4th order bandpass.
Teen on a tight budget.

My first car stereo was cobbled together in high school from random used stuff. Pioneer super tuner III, Pioneer 6x9 3 ways and a roadmaster 5 band booster/eq. It was adequate for the car I was driving at the time, a 1970 Saab Model 96. Then I put it in the first car I bought myself, a 69 GTO. I have a different 69 GTO now and have been trying to replicate the old system. I found an NOS Sansui RX-150 stereo tape deck, an NOS Roadmaster 5 band 50watt amp/eq and JL Audio 6x9 3-ways. Just need to finish wiring.
