I had to deal with demo mode on a older Pioneer that was hard to get out of demo mode,I had to disconnect the battery for service and when hooked back up it came up with setup so after doing that I could not find demo in the menu. Well I disconnected the battery again and said no to setup and then went to menu and could finally get to the demo mode, that radio really set me off and came close to being destroyed, just had to vent as every other radio I have demo comes up on the menu easily and that gets me thinking demo mode should be set to be off and only turned on if wanted. I really do not like demo mode.
