It is still cold outside here in Concord, NC and my MAT 66 is not even remotely sticky. I prepped the inside of the A-Pillar pods with rubbing alcohol (91%) and dried them. The only way to get the MAT 66 to adhere was by heating the deadener in the oven. Onward!

I have a sickness. I just made a major change to the build. Remove all three amplifiers. I just ordered the JP77 seven channel amp, in blue. It's D4S's fault... it is on sale for $517.49. Big D's amp dyno of this amp sealed the deal.

I put a space heater inside my car lmao. Adhesives I was using needed to be above a certain temp to cure. Dunno how much you have left to do that needs to be warm, but it will help if you have one. The one I used has temp control so it turns off above a threshold and is less of a fire hazard.

Although it seems you just need the deadener to be soft enough to apply so that advice may not apply. My bad

I have all of it to do still. 6am to 5pm is work which is fine but the rest of the day has been crap for a while now. I am sure It will warm and dry up though.

LED Bulbs for the low beams are here as well as the Sylvania 921 reverse light LED bulbs. I guess I will eat lunch and go install some bulbs.

I have them both installed and wired @ 2ohms each sub so the amp will see 1 ohm. I would have taken a few more pics but the parents asked me to go to supper with them. Chineeeeese buffet. Oh, I pre-drilled pilot holes before screwing down the subs with #8x3/4 screws.

Question... CT Sounds sent two decals in each subs packaging. They are white. Would it be tacky to put the CT Sounds logo on the plexi window on the box?

I wouldn't...but I never put the stickers on...I need to be paid for advertising space

Ok, I got the back cleaned out and the box pushed into place. Looks great I think. With the cargo cover pulled to the rear you can't see the enclosure from any direction. That's a plus. There is about 3 inches between the top of the surrounds to the cargo cover. What do you guys think?

I know earlier in the thread you said you didn't want welding cable but the Orange GPC wire is welding cable..
The place they get it from will print on the jacket what ever you like, I was gonna order some awhile back..

It's nice cable and will serve you well.

sounds like enough. could also just ditch the cover. If you're worried about advertising to thieves, tint the windows. I say play the subs and see if they smack the cover first though lmao
