Featured 2010 ford ranger, which door speakers???

Michael Jackson Popcorn GIF

He quit while he was behind. A wise decision on his part. He thought he would go civics until civics was the wrong choice. He knew better but still had to pull the trigger.. I appreciate his effort and respect that he knew when to to throw up the white flag. It happens and it just happened. I still recommend the Deaf Bonce if he has the mounting depth. Otherwise, run some Infinity or apolk Audio coaxial's. I've been there. My ranger with 33's. I speak from experience.

Too funny! Did I do something wrong? I simply answered answered OP's question without railing on anybody else's recommendation. Then dude get's triggered because I had the audacity to recommend a widely available Russian speaker. I was shocked. Then I was ready. Hooked another one. Professional fisherman. IYKYK.
Nah, you didn't do anything wrong. I like the drama lmao

Well....
At this point picked-up the Recoil RED1800.5 & sitting in the garage...
The CDT HD-62 2 way set should be here today...
Really need to figure out the sub or subs scenario behind the seat but think it will be best to wait & see how much room I have to play with, before deciding on some sort of prefabbed box vs throwing something together.
Will most likely ditch the plastics behind the seat....
Full size subs would be nice but end of the day, may not matter & a shallow will probably sound great, cleaner install...
Should have the truck by next week if all goes as planned...

Anyone have a good starting point on the EX-560CDiX 2-way crossover tweeter portion switch position?
I know somewhat personal preference but you guys rave about the product, figure someone has played with all the options & knows...
Seems like theres 4 positions...
The cdt hd-62 set came in today, nice...
That DRT-25 tweeter is more substantial than I expected....
No idea at this point where the x-overs will be mounted, the door, or by the amp....
Door doesnt make for experimentation after the fact very easy...

the attenuation circuit is actually flat, -3db and -6db, there is no such thing as +3db in a passive circuit. Mount them up near the under dash locations on R/L kick panels leaving them where you can still adjust them.

+3 db is flat and the loudest,
0db is 3db lower and -3db is 6 db lower than flat. I prefer flat (+3db on the switch) or -3db (0db on the switch). These tweeters are pretty mellow so it will depend on how on or off axis they are mounted.

The way I read that out at the CDT site is that you have slope options for high power versus lower power on both the tweeter options when you're using an additional image (height) tweeter in the mix. Steeper slope for high-power use depending also on location.

Install them where you can adjust them and see which you like.

Can you guys set me straight real quick on this, sound deadening, inner and outer door panels. Does the vapor barrier go back on after I sound dead, or leave it off?
