I seen this the other day or maybe a while back when maybe they were getting negative comments or something during free air tests, at any rate I seen it at some point. I like the motor and basket, surround color is cool, I hate the logo on the dust cap.

Decent looking sub otherwise and I’m sure performance is fine. Seems like the market is already very saturated with subwoofers, that was a thought that popped in my mind watching a video on these subs, but maybe performance will help sales.

Definitely reminiscent of older subs.

I noticed that the frame is like the Cerwin Vega Stroker. Performance may be similar but according to the owner, the sub can work good even in 1 cube sealed. The owner of Sundown helped him with R&D and is part of marketing as well.
I like the logo. It does not scare me like the Boss Audio skulls.

Yeah, that kinda makes it look cheesy. Those mesh covers were prone to rusting.

I always wondered why more colored surrounds didn't come out. Back in the late 90's, I was talking to JL Audio about making an anniversary addition with a white surround. Instead, they came out with white conned subs. I know MTX was thinking of making the surrounds of the re-released Blue Thunders blue, but that didn't happen.
