I just bought a 2003 Tahoe and the kid that had it before me had AI guess one hell of system in it so now I had no power going to my training like there's no power going to it all what do I do what's going what do I need to do I mean is it a groundwire or what do I need to do to fix it

He may have taken out his wiring upgrades and probably didn't bother reinstalling factory grounds. Start by checking all fuses and relays.

Check fuse 4 passenger side compartment for the TCM

back trace the harness to the transmission. Also, check your speed sensor wire. I'm not sure it would affect the power to the transmission, but it's the only wire that has any relations to the ******.

Low voltage can cause transmission issues. Autozone will test your alternator for free.

Hey guys I so appreciate the help. So I have a code reader. It's bringing up P1518 . But my problem is my shifter I can move freely but it will not go into gear. No other codes coming up. Any help would be Miracle for this girl. Ty

Hey guys I didn't help that I can get as much appreciated I've got a code reader myself a brings up code P1518 . But that's not my problem my problem is my shifter moves freely but will not go into gear the transmission is not going into gear at all can anybody help thank you no other codes or popping up I appreciate all the help I can get guys

That sounds like you need a mechanic.

Being a GM it sounds like your shift linkage cable popped out of the transmission shift lever next to the transmission gear position sensor.

I would say the same. It could have been pulled while running wires.
