I currently have my bass amp running on 4 gauge wire. The amp is 1200 watts. I am getting a 4 channel amp for some new door speakers. I do not want to run another wire to the battery. I' want to use a fused distribution block. 1 in 2 out. The 4 channel amp is going to be 2400 watts. Will I need to switch the in side to zero gauge or will it be all be fine running on 4 gauge?

It's a planet audio AC2400.4. Each door speakers is 300 RMS 600 max. However I do want to add some tweeters so I will probably get a higher amp.

It uses 2 15A fuses so you should be good.

So I'm just wondering. Will there be any power drop off or sound quality drop off. If I have it all running on 4 gauge as opposed to running 0 gauge to the battery and 4 gauge to the amps?

Not unless you run it full blast constantly. When I went with a more powerful setup I just ran another 4 AWG cable. That is equivalent to 1 AWG.

That wouldn't support 1800 WRMS. I'm seeing 70 amp fuse and the recommendation for 4 ga. wire.

You are right. The manual says 2x35. Pictures I found had 15s (or so I thought).

You currently have a combined 105 amperes. As maylar pointed outb it is best to add another 4 AWG or upgrade to at least 2 AWG.
