I need help picking a subwoofer for Rockville DB14

I have found those subs and want options, would you pick 2 American Bass XD-1244 or 1 of American Bass ELITE1244 with a Rockville DB14. If you have any other setups that you think would be better please let me know! Thanks!

2 is almost always louder than 1 on the same power (given a proper box is being used in both scenarios)

I have tried one of these subs and it sounded really good. But after it was broken in, the sound changed for the worse. I do not blame the sub because I put it in a spare box I have. Some day I will put it in it's correct box and it should sound good now that it is broken in.

Have you bought anything yet? Amp;?
If not.. What vehicle and what is your budget for subs and amplifier,wiring kit and enclosure?
Using a stock HU? Or an aftermarket? Make and model?

I have already bought the amp and have this box https://www.ctsounds.com/collections/box-designs/products/dual-12-strato-ported-design I had cheap Walmart speakers and I blew them both. I have a pioneer mvh-s322bt and have a good wiring kit to the speakers.
