RCA output question

My son is wanting to add a 4-channel amp to power his door speakers in his truck. He already has a Kicker mono sub amp installed and it has RCA output on it. My question is will that be sending a full channel out? Can we just run RCA cables from the Kicker output in the new amp inputs?

As long as the Kicker is not connected to the subwoofer output of the radio, it will work.

1aespinoza thank you. He's still using the factory radio so we just have a LOC spliced into the front and rear speaker wires for the signal.

So if you are connected to full range speakers, your LOC will provide a full range RCA output.
The extra RCA outputs from most amps are pass through signals.

If your using a cheap LOC then you loosing a lot of...Volume/power/sound quality.
Now putting a second amp on to the same output and taxing it even more
I don't what kind he is using but a good one make a world of difference
Cheap LOC= 1 volt pre out
Good one =6-8 volt pre outs
Dayton Audio makes a good one, you can get it at Parts Express
Audio Control makes the LC6i and I just saw it at Amazon for $182 (Can) so that's like what $120 US
Best $120 you will ever spend

It was a cheap one from Wal-Mart lol. I hadn't really thought about that so thanks for the input on that. Couldn't find one made by Dayton Audio on the Parts Express website but we live close to their store so might just go over there and see what they have. I'll tell him getting a better one is worth the money though. Thanks all for the replies on this.
