Maybe try backing your gain down some and see if it does it again. Personally I'm not sure how much I trust the clip light to be 100% accurate

Check out machines 2020...it's amazing

I backed it down a bit and it still shut off. It's fine, I have a reliable sub amp to put back in there.

The Smart3 is out and the RF is back in. I opted to use the bass knob for the Taramps as it has no lights and it works perfectly. Took it for a test drive and I did every thing I could to murder those subs with the amp. It dropped to 12.3v one time at full tilt and the UltraCAP recovered quickly. The bass is LOUD, DEEP and LOW. I also adjusted one thing on the amp... I turned the Punch E.Q. from off to half way up so I guess that is roughly +9db at 45hz. Amp is crossed over at the head unit at 80hz. It made me smile again.

Deff an issue with that amp man., Thats a shame man. This one is on sale atm

Well I destroyed my repaired map light sunglasses holder listening to AA XXX by Peaches. The little nub that goes into the slot is just not repairable again so I ordered a map light sunglasses holder thingy on Ebay. Stupid bass be breakin erything.

Oh, here in about a month I am getting the H.O. alternator and I settled on the amplifier that is going to run the midbass, mids and tweets. I was going to do the Symphony S6 but have decided to go with the Phoenix Gold Ti3-1600. Aesthetically it is awesome and all the connections are on front edge so it will mount on my amp board the way I intended.

I put a bnew Pioneer P6300 Flip out HU in when I had 4-10s banging on 4k and it lasted just over a week.. It was a little over $400 unit at the time. Never again

I have been considering a cell phone upgrade. My current LG G7 ThinQ is great and all but I think Android 13 is all she will get. I can strip it down and literally use it for a HiRes music player thanks to its 32 bit quad dac. I am thinking about going back to Motorola... specifically the Edge 40 Pro.
