When you "Shut down" the PC, the information that is in the RAM is moved to the hard drive. When the computer is rebooted the information that was moved to the hard drive is moved back to the RAM. When you "Restart" a computer that is currently on the RAM is wiped and the information is not moved to the HDD.Turning off your PC doesn’t clear the random access memory?
Yeah, your extensive computer education was wasted.
Clear enough Rob?
And?And?
Looks like you are the one trying to flex and talk down to someone at the same time.So now you’re flexing on $100 self-powered desktop speakers connected to your entertainment PC that you can’t play except through headphones?
Wow. You go, kid!
The tweeter on my center channel cost more than your mains and sub together.
You are stuck in the past and on past post. Keep flexing, tell me about that tweeter.
When you buy a store bought computer that has an OS on it, the OS is included in the price and is not typically a separate purchase. That’s the weirdest spin yet. You think Windows is free when you pay for it, but not free if someone else buys it and gives it to you?
Please explain THAT logic.
The office computers you speak of had OS's installed on them which means it was a separate purchase and typically purchased is a volume license. Meaning someone paid for the OS you got for free.
Clear now Rob?
