Wiring speakers to my Isuzu Dmax 2021 stock head unit

I am wondering how to wire my Isuzu 2021 new 6x9 front speakers.

I have spliced into my speaker wires in the back of my OEM stock head unit with audio wire and ran it to a line output converter and then used rca cables from that into my amp.

My alpine sa32f amp still has a red light on it.
What have I done wrong?

Disconnect the speakers from the amp to see if the red light goes off.
