SIA 1750 amp

Is the SIA 1750 amp too much for a Sundown Sa-10. v2 D4 wired at 4ohms. The amp puts out 1250w rms at 4ohms and the D4 is rated at 1000w rms so I was wondering if I should go with the SIA 1250 or the SIA 1750.
Either amp will be fine. Just get your sub in a properly tuned enclosure and the correct type of enclosure for the vehicle and tune properly and you should be fine

You could wire it to 1ohm and just use ohms law to set the amp to 1000w

V(ac)=√(watt×ohm)
31.6v=√(1000×1)
Take a multimeter set to ac voltage and turn the gain up till you see 31-32v on the multimeter.

Use a 40hz test tone with no sub hooked up

Set it then hook the subs up. You now have nearly 1kw of dynamic headroom

Audiobahn already answered the question. Move on genius. Are we having fun yet?
