I’ve seen some crappy installs in my time but this……I just had to post it!😂
Ive had wires all over the place and bundled up back in the day when I first got into this hobby(Still do at times when Testing several amps on board without cutting a nice length of wiring back). But Ive never left anything HOTT exposed. LOL 👀 👀 💩 I guess if it works??LOL RUN IT!!

Lol, right!! I remember using extension cords for speaker and power wire, and ground back in the day. I knew nothing about wire size, etc. and I still use scrap wire when testing things even know but as you said, never leave anything hot unexposed.

I literally tore apart an old 12 gauge extension cord for my speaker wire in my system a couple weeks ago. I even twisted it together in an attempt to make it look like high end braided speaker “cable”. I should probably have my bass card revoked.

I was going to keep that one to myself..    But it was copper wiring, and I used it too. It took a little while before my Old man figured out where his went. LOL. Then I had to work it off to pay for them
