I have a 2014 mustang gt with Kenwood ddx9703 I want to add front camera too a clarion cc510. Is there a way to power up/test the camera before cutting wires? I hate to cut the wires and it have backup lines.

The cameras have positive and negative. Apply power to those, it will turn on. The yellow RCA must be plugged into a monitor for performance verification. Some screen radios have a "camera on" button to keep a camera on. If your's has this feature, it would make testing easy.

I know how to wire the camera was hoping there's a way to test it before cutting wires hate to cut wires and have backup/grid lines radio has front and rear camera inputs.

Is it rhe looped wire you do not wish to cut? No need to cut it for testing. The power wires need to be stripped for power source splicing, so I am unsure which wires you do not want to cut.

The power and ground wires that backup camera is spliced into through harness hesitant because everything sounds good now hate to possibly mess that up.

I think the radio provides the power for the front camera, unless Kenwood has a different method. No need to splice into the rear camera power. AFAIK I have never heard of someone getting noise from a camera install.

I'm saying I hate to cut the power and ground wires to power the front camera until I know it won't have line since I have my system sounding good I'll lose all my sound settings when I unhook the battery/cut power and ground wires. So I was hoping there was a way to check without having to cut any wires.
