How many speaker can connect to a 4 channel amp?

hi,
i actually have a pioneer amp of 4 channel powering 4 pioneer speaker of 55 watt rms(4 ohm) each
Find below specs of the pioneer amp.

now i want to add 2 or 4 additional speaker of 90/100 watt rms(4 ohm) each on that amp.
is it feasible? will it reduce the performance or affect the amp etc?

I would ignore this specification. 1 Ohm per channel on a 4 channel is dubious.

Two speakers parallel per channel are safe. Main thing is to mind the impedance. Single 4 Ohms parallel is 2 Ohms, which the amp can safely handle.
 
What amp is it from Pioneer meaning what model? Some Pioneer 4 channels have tested out and been rated for 1 ohm loads.

This GM-D8604 and the GM-D8704 are 1 ohm rated I know I have a D8604 sitting in my vehicle right now.

dont want to take the risk and bring it down to 1 ohm. think will stick to the 2 0hm load and add 2x4ohm speaker on 1 channel which means that i can connect 6 or 8 speakers on that 4 channel amp.

But you know, some other are discouraging me to go to 1 or 2 ohm. maybe they have not tried and are skeptical. dont know.
 
2 ohm load in stereo mode is pretty common and a safe for most multi channel amplifiers but can get worked hard if loaded up with multiple speakers to get to the 2 ohm load.Just keep in mind to elevate the amplifier to get some air circulation under the amplifier to help keep cooler (even a fan) when ran hard. Running a 4 ohm load is a bit easier on an amplifier in most cases as well and a bit cleaner in most cases of sound, a good 4v hu helps with this as well for a cleaner signal.

planning to add 2 x 4 ohm speaker on 1 channel. where the 2 speakers will have 55 watt rms and abt 100 watt rms.
 
If you have a amplifier channel that makes 150 watts rms at 2 ohms and connect two 4 ohm speakers to it, each speaker will receive 75 watts rms. Be careful setting your gain so that you don’t overpower the 55 watts rms speakers.

The pioneer amp 8604 which am using do offers that specs i.e

yeps, i set the gain at max 1/2 and also do not play the speakers at high volume till distortion.
 
realistically, 8 speakers. 2 4ohm speakers on each channel, giving you a 2ohm load on each channel.

There are other ways. Series 4 pairs of 4ohm speakers, then parallel them down per channel for a 2ohm load. That's 8 speakers per channel for a total of 32 speakers. 😵

32 speakers on a 4 channel Amp?. U want my car to catch fire. Lol.
 
saw some JBL and infinity speakers and willing to go with them. their impedances are typically round 2.7 and 3 ohm. hope that hooking the 2.7/3 ohm to a 4 ohm speaker will not cause any issue.
Either brand make decent speakers. I like Polks more, infinity my second choice , Hertz, and JBL for mainstream speakers for the $
