Got 7 of the 10 new windows installed in my house today

The old ones were just single-pane double-hung. New ones are double-pane insulated double-hung.

The house is solid, and in no way a "fixer upper". Just a few minor updates I'm doing to be more energy efficient and modern-looking.

I'm glad I made a fitment gauge to see what height/length box I could fit through my trunk opening. First try was to simulate a 16" tall, 30" deep box. Ended up getting stuck about half way in.

A 14" tall, 30" deep box will slide in just fine. Will probably do 29" depth so the sub has 4 to 6 inches of clearance to the trunk lid. Width is 36" at the narrowest point, but I'm going to do a 33" width to leave room for fingers when installing/removing the box with heavy sub installed.

That's a good idea man. I've definitely seen boxes not fit. I've also seen people rip out trim or even beat down the sheet metal inside of the trunk down to get a box to fit lol.
