I can't imagine this will be user serviceable. It was a sub-300$ deck brand new, it's 5 years old, you're meant to just throw these away and buy a new one when they fail.

That is what I heave done with decks like these in the past. I have been installing since 93, but haven't learned how to repair car stereos, or modify car amps internally. It's more for learning how to do it is what I'm trying to accomplish here. There are a couple of suppliers with the parts, but need to know what part, or parts to order.

Parts that MIGHT be user serviceable would be like buttons or motors for media eject and similar. You're not likely to be able to repair the on board amp (assuming that's what the problem even is). There's probably a reason that NO electronics repair shop does this.

I know it doesn't help, but I have the same deck in my Explorer, and I really like it. Did you buy it to learn about fixing or to use? You might be able to run it using the pre-outs and an external amp. Thanks @hispls for reminding me how old my **** is.
Awesome I bought the deck for $20 knowing the rear channel speaker outputs prvoided by the stereo internal amp didn't work but have been using a 4 channel 1200 watt amp for 4 6×9s along with what has now been 7 amps for the 2 12" Rockville Subs but discovered my dual voice coil subs were nit properly wired. See pics.

After I have completed the audio system, vinyl wrapped, and replaced the interior I have on my 06 Monte Carlo LS I have a 2016 Maserati that I'm going to have fun with.

So you don't own a test bench, power supply, tone generator, Oscilloscope, and don't even understand Ohm's Law but you're going to jump right into electronics repair with something so complex that not even the manufacturer offers repair services. What could possibly go wrong?
How is it you know I don't have this or that experience again? Replacing a car stereo internal amp isn't that difficult. seriously!

That is one of the ugliest installs I've ever seen. Why are there so many random boards in your trunk? Is that EMT holding the box in place? Why do you have a distribution block when the battery is in the trunk? Why are you using red wire for negative? Why is there a resistor(?) by your 4-channel output terminals? What's under the glob of electrical tape by your 4-channel positive terminal? Why is your negative cable so much smaller than your positive cable? Why do you have 6x9's in boxes rather than using factory speaker locations?

Most important question: Do you always keep a fire extinguisher in your vehicle and carry full-coverage insurance?

Man, I personally wouldn't share pictures of that install. The good news is there is lots of room for improvement to make it look better.

Everything in place is temporary until I havery the actual audio I will be using permanetly in my ride. I honestly love reading yalls reactions to this **** not knowing the full details of what's actually happening. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words and so far has been priceless for what I've read in these forums lol
