How do I bypass the Protection Device on this amp

Why does it have to be two channel? You can get a Sundown SFB1500 for that money. And the SIA1750 (better amp than the SFB) should be in stock now at Down4Sound.
I guess it wouldn't have to be a two channel amp now that you ask ; ) Just want to make sure whatever amp I end up buying to power 2 "12 subs will give me at least a years worth of reliable use. Going to checkout the details on the two Sundown amps your suggesting. I am familiar with Sundown Audio, but assumed they were pricey an haven't even considered their amps as an option. I appreciate your help on this!

I like this one. It's around $400 with taxes shipping n handeling. I wouldn't have a problem spending $400 so that I can start finishing my trunk build in.

What are your thoughtS about spending money on this?
Probably a poor investment. Just go to a parts store and buy their AGM "premium" or "platinum" line or whatever AGM has the best warranty. Bonus points pick a nationwide parts chain so that if/when the battery fails you can just exchange it over the counter, in person, anywhere in the country with zero hassle or return shipping charges.

Already have a deep cycle battery in the trunk ; )

Also have a 220 amp high output altenator that was installed by a master mechanic. The deep cycle battery gets connected at the positive battery terminal after I start the car, and then disconnect before turning off the car. I was going to have a part put on it that automatically does this that is inexpensive. My master mechanic advised against it because of the eventual event that it fails it's purpose of isolating the battery within my engine compartment from the deep cycle battery when the car isn't running.

OK, if you're still struggling to hold strong voltage add more batteries or upgrade your alternator.
I've bought a voltage meter a few months ago, but never had a reason to use it until now. I had a 2 Farad 24 Volts capacitor with a voltage display that I recently traded for a 150x2 Memphis Amp I sold 14 hours later for just under triple what I paid for the capacitor. Later today when I'm out and about going to keep the voltage meter connected to the amp + n - posts to see what happens while I'm dtiving.

Man you need someone to explain the entire basics for you.

That deep cycle in your trunk is a flooded battery it will never be the same as a decent agm battery.

The alt you bought is likely only putting out decent amperage at high rpm. Car audio alts run smaller pulleys so at idle the spin the same speed as a regular alt at high rpm. This lessens the life span of the alt but you get alot more power at low rpm.

Rockville is a budget brand and never makes the power they state on the box, the subs aren't going to take 3000w rms either.

A 4 farad capacitor is only going to benefit you if it's installed on the headlight circuit. It is no where near enough power storage to be beneficial for a sub system. A super capacitor is a different story and they often start at 500farad and are the size of a battery.

Autotek hasn't been worth much since the maxxonics buyout.

My suggestion to to pick up one of those amps first recommended because you don't have the electrical to supply 300+ amps to a 3000w amplifier.

I didn't even look at the wiring you have but if you don't have a quality 1/0 power cable ran from the alt to the batteries both front and rear you don't have anyway to support 300amps of power draw.

You can use distribution blocks to downsize the wire in the trunk, or just use your rear battery post.

My honest suggestion and one you can do in steps is

1. Replace that amp with the sfp1500

2. Build a custom box designed by someone like @Buck or @shredder2. I would not bother building a box for those Rockville speakers but you can use those speakers as a fill gap.

3. Pick up any decent 750-1000w rms sub sundown sa series, incriminator lethal injection, digital designs 2500 series, daton ho or ultimax, pretty sure ssa makes one as well as fi caraudio.

Pick the subs you want as an end goal and have the box designed around those subs. That way you can swap the Rockvilles at any time and have a custom enclosure for the new better subwoofers.

Lots of good amp companies out there but you often get what you pay for. I personally like ddaudio amps but they are rather expensive

Cool :) Best advice I have received on car audio since I started installing them (Self taught) back in 93. I will follow those steps because I started working on this project in my spare time (day off) a week for the last few months, and honestly want it to be just done an sounding good.

This amp will give you 1,750 watts @ 1 ohm. It was just released from Sundown.
